Phase 1 Return to play SGH
Submitted By Leanne Vidler on Friday, August 28, 2020
Sarnia Girls Hockey is excited to announce that we will be moving to phase 1 return to play.

This year, in order to limit social interaction, we will be using a web based registration system that will also allow for online payment.  Link will be posted Monday.

The fee for phase 1 will be $247.50.  This fee will cover your insurance with the OWHA ($47.50 non-refundable) and the ice fees for 10 skates.

Registration will open, Monday, August 31st and will close September 9th.

Coaches will meet on September 10th to organize player Cohorts, with the intent of some teams to commence on ice instruction starting September 12th. You will be contacted by the coach leading your child’s cohort after this meeting.

It is our intent for Instructional hockey to start the first weekend of October as there are some extra logistics with this age group. Players that do not register by the 9th will be placed on a wait list.

Please keep in mind that the first phase of return to play will focus on skill development and not include small game play.

There are  no tryouts at this point.  When we are allowed to proceed with tryouts we will do so.

Registration is open to new and returning players.
