Welcome to the tryouts for the U18 Tier 2! We are thrilled to see so many talented athletes out at try-outs, ready to showcase their skills and passion for the game.

As Head Coach, I am excited to witness the potential and dedication that each of you brings to the ice. Our goal for this upcoming season is to build a strong and competitive U18 team that embodies teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love for the game. We are committed to creating an environment where each player can grow and thrive both on and off the ice.

The tryout process may feel challenging or stressful as these things generally always are, but please know that we are here to support you every step of the way.

Tryout Details:
- Try-out #1: Sunday, May 5th @ 8 pm to 9:30 pm; Clearwater Arena
- Try-out #2: Tuesday, May 7th @ 8:00 pm to 9:30 pm; Clearwater Arena
- Try-out #3: Saturday, May 11th @ 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm; Clearwater Arena

Please arrive prepared to work hard and with a positive attitude. Each player will have the opportunity to showcase their skills during the tryouts, and we encourage you to give your best effort at every moment.

At the conclusion of each try-out, we will assess any releases and players moving on in the process will be posted on the website; all release timeline communications will be shared if occurring at the end of each skate. Any releases will be turned over to the Tier 3 team for placement.  Regardless of the outcome, we are dedicated to finding a place for each player within our organization to support their growth and development as athletes.

If you have any questions or concerns during the tryout process, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.  Your feedback and input are valuable to us, and we are here to help in any way we can.

Thank you for your commitment, hard work, and passion for the game of hockey.  Best of luck to all participants, and let's make this season one to remember!

Sincerely,

Carl Smith, Head Coach, U18 Tier 2
