One of First Shift's program objectives is to reach girls aged 6-10 and introduce them into the sport of hockey. Our intention is to provide those young girls with mentors & role models that can share their Minor Hockey Experiences and build a relationship with the greater hockey community
All Student Volunteers will be eligible for OSSD Volunteer Hours
We will provide coordination of volunteers in July
**We are looking for girls that can provide assistance for at least 50% of our proposed schedule**
Our Current Schedule Request is:
First Shift On Ice Helper - 6 Weeks, 1 Hr per Week (Time & Place TBC, 3 Fridays in December & 3 Fridays in January)
First Shift Welcome Event - 6-8 Hrs on 1 Day (Somewhere between November 1 & 12)
First Shift Transition Program - 8 Weeks, 1 Hr per Week (Time & Place TBC, 4 Fridays in February & 4 Fridays in March)
