U11 HL - Howitt & Karelsen (Sarnia Jr Lady Sting)

What a weekend for the U11 HL. It was their first tournament of the year and some of the girls first tournament ever in their hockey careers.  They fought hard all weekend, they tied their first 3 games, 1-1, 1-1, 0-0. The pattern continued into the quarter finals of 0-0 which led us into overtime and a shootout, where we came up one goal short.  The hardwork, dedication and heart that went into this weekend was so strong between all the girls. We may be a small team but we are mighty! Great job Sting. 

This past weekend the U11 HL had their first games. The first game we played Parkhill at home, the game was a close 1-1 most of the game where we came up short losing 3-1, the girls gave it their all and looked awesome for their first time playing together and some of the girls first game ever.  Second game we headed to Glencoe where we secured our first win at 3-0. Congrats to our goalie on her first shutout this year.  We are so proud of these girls - and cannot wait to see them grow this season.
