We are thrilled to announce our U9 Try-out schedule!
New to the U9 process? Players will have 4 Prep skates and 3 Sorting skates. Prep skates allow players to skate, get comfortable on the ice, practice drills, and have fun. Sorting skates will operate very similarly but are used for Coaches to evaluate skills for team placement.
Expected teams: 1 competitive team (C division) and 3 house league division teams. All teams have equal ice time and commitments, differing only in
play level between divisions. We recommend for players to attend all skates, especially the Sorting skates for fair assessment & placement.
Skates will be organized alphabetically: Group 1 (A to H) and Group 2 (I to Z). Attendance in the assigned Group sessions is crucial for effective support ratios and proper player assessment.
Please ensure try-out fees are paid before the first skate and players from other OWHA centers need a Permission to Skate form. Both these items are mandatory for your player to be able to participate on their first skate. Please reach out here if you have any questions about these requirements.
