Novice C, 2017-2018 (Sarnia Jr Lady Sting)

OUR NOVICE C GIRLS WORKED HARD ALL WEEKEND TO COME HOME WITH SILVER MEDALS FROM THE ONTARIO WOMENS PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIPS! The team played the Timmons Falcons and Kempville Storm Friday April 6th and the Mount Forest Rams Saturday April 7th winning all three to finish 1st in their pool. In the quarter final rounds they played against North Bay Ice Boltz and won to meet up a against the Woodstock Wildcats in the semi final round.  They worked hard and won the game 4-2 to face their rivals St. Thomas Panthers in the finals. The ladies travelled to Saugeen Shores to participate in the Interanational Silver Stick this weekend and fought hard!  After playing 1 game Friday and 3 on Saturday the ladies played in the finals Sunday morning. After battling back to tie the game in the third period, the girls lost in the 8th minute of a 10 minute 3 on 3 overtime period vs Mitchell. Great weekend of hard work girls!!

The ladies enjoyed an afternoon watching the Toronto Furies and Les Canadiennes battle it out at PASA arena!

On December 30th the Novice C ladies travelled in Sting Style for a double header with Mitchell.

The Novice C Ladies fought hard against Mitchell to win the Stratford Aces Festival Cup by a score of 7-4! They fought back from being behind and showed great effort to work as a team to come away with the championship! A weekend of great memories for this group of girls!
