The Sarnia Jr. Lady Sting U11 “HL” team were silver medalists at the Mitchell Girls’ Hockey Tournament over the weekend, after a thrilling overtime final against the South Bruce Blades.
The team won two of their three round-robin games — defeating the Walkerton Capitals (3-1) and Huron Heat (1-0) — before taking on the Blades in the championship game, Sunday, falling just short 2-1 in sudden-death overtime.
