City of Sarnia arena capacity update

As per the Ontario announcement late yesterday afternoon, Arenas will be returning to reduced capacities effective Sunday, December 19, 2021.

As we await updates to the Regulation and further guidance and interpretation from Lambton Public Health we will be returning to the following capacity limits for participants and spectators: 


Participants:Maximum 40 participants, per ice rental; per rink, plus coaches, team staff and refs as required for game play. 

Spectators:PASA 1: 2750PASA 2: 70 Sarnia Arena: 1000 Clearwater Blue Rink: Maximum 150Clearwater Red Rink: Maximum 70 

Please ensure everyone within your group and/or organization are aware of these reduced capacity limits. As a reminder, permit holders are responsible for their own contact tracing and screening of ALL participants, coaches, spectators (including any visiting teams), and must ensure you are maintaining the reduced capacity limits both on and off ice (spectators). 

An updated City of Sarnia COVID-19 Arena Operating Standards will be issued shortly.
